Summary: decorated Gulf War veteran who was among more than 30 tourists to have survived from severe wounds suffered in a gunfire in the infamous 2001 Adelaide City Centre mass shootings that had left 29 other tourists killed by gunman Garen Roxbury (who later died in prison less than a month after the shootings), in which the incident was considered as one of the worst mass murders in modern Australian history since 1996.
