Summary: student at Lincoln Elementary School in Pennsylvania who had been hospitalized in critical condition for nearly a month with burns suffered from over 40 percent of his body in the ill-fated El Al Flight 329 airplane accident that killed 77 of the 93 passengers and crew members while attempting to make an emergency landing during takeoff in an apparent tailstrike incident on the runway at Tel Aviv International Airport on July 17, 2006 while accompanying a group of teachers and students on their way on an educational trip to a Holocaust museum in Jerusalem, Israel funded by the National Geographic Society.
