Summary: student at Jefferson Junior High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana who had escaped death during the devastating Jefferson Junior High School massacre that claimed the lives of three of her close friends on November 29, 2004 in which 11 students and a schoolteacher were shot and killed by fellow student Daniel Anderson who later killed himself, but who was then transferred to another Catholic school and later suffered from a severe bout of depression  and posttraumatic stress after the deadly incident.
