Summary: retired bookkeeper who had been in critical condition for more than two months from gunshot wounds suffered in a October 2001 shooting rampage that left seven people killed and several others seriously injured including U.S. Congressman Woodward Rushmore during a town meeting held near the campus area of Fort Wayne's Ivy Tech Community College, who had been shot multiple times in the head, neck and chest during the attack but had never fully recovered from his wounds.
