Summary: Spanish bank employee who had been hospitalized in critical condition for more than three weeks from severe head injuries she received in the catastrophic March 11 Madrid train bombing incident that had killed over 190 people and seriously injured more than 1,800 others when approximately ten near-simultaneous explosions occurred between Alcala de Henares and Madrid Atocha high-speed railway station during the morning rush hour, in which it became one of Europe's worst terrorist attacks since the Lockerbie bombing in 1988 and also remained a global controversy as the official investigation by the Spanish Judiciary determined the attacks were directed by an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist cell, but no direct Islamic terrorism participation has ever been established.
