Summary: eighth-grade student at Johann Gutenburg High School in Erfurt, Germany who was one of two students shot and killed inside a barricaded classroom during an apparent violent shooting rampage at the school when a recently expelled student identified as 19-year-old Robert Steinhauser began to open fire through several classrooms and gunned down 13 schoolteachers and a police officer before he committed suicide shortly after at the scene, in which the incident became one of the worst school massacres in Europe since 1996.
