Summary:
British longtime train driver of the First Great Western inter-city train based at Exeter St. David's station in Devon, England who was among the seven known fatalities killed in the fatal November 2004 Ufton Nervet rail crash when a main service train from London's Paddington railway station to Plymouth, England was derailed by colliding into a stationary car parked on a level crossing and injured about 71 people in the impact after the Frist Great Western train hit the car near the rural West Berkshire village of Ufton Nervet as the train was passing through, in which police are investigating whether the car's driver Brian Drysdale intended to kill himself.
