Summary: Italian storekeeper employed at Emmezeta di Riposo shopping mall at the foot of Mount Etna in the Metropolitan City of Catania on the east coast of Sicily, Italy who was among at least 88 people reported missing and feared dead in the aftermath of the Sharm El Sheikh bombings during a series of terrorist attacks perpetrated by an Islamist organization on July 23, 2005 in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El Sheikh on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, in which an estimated 200 others were injured in the explosion including 13 other Italian tourists and it was the worst terrorist attack in Egypt's recent history since the 1997 Luxor massacre when Islamic militants killed 58 foreign tourists and four Egyptians at the Pharaonic Temple of Hatshepsut in southern Egypt.
