Summary: star baseball player at Fordham University who enjoyed a memorable four-year stint as the starting second baseman for the Fordham College Rams from 1989 to 1992 and was inducted into the Fordham Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000 whose .369 career batting average and 155 RBIs also earned him half a dozen all-time Fordham records, including being hit by more pitches than any other batter (he still holds school records for 222 hits, 601 runs and 354 total bases), who also earned two consecutive Patriot League Player of the Year awards during his time at Fordham but who played 103 games in 1994 for the former Class-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies minor league system before an injury ended his career and became a construction worker.
