Summary: Polish geologist and engineer who was allegedly abducted and held captive by Islamic terrorists in the city of Attock, Pakistan in September 2008 after armed gunmen shot dead his driver, translator and bodyguard whom he was traveling in a car, in which a Taliban spokesman said the group demanded the Polish government not to send troops to Afghanistan and urged Poland to cut its tires with Pakistan, which had made no effort to secure the hostage's release because the Pakistani government failed to release Taliban prisoners.
