Summary: victims' rights advocate and sister of screen actress and Manson murder victim Sharon Tate who had attended the parole hearings of serial killer Charles Manson and his female followers to try to ensure none would be let out of prison for their role in two separate gruesome attacks in 1969 that left seven people dead (including Tate who was approximately eight months pregnant at the time), and who also served as a bureau board member of the Sacramento-based non-profit victims' rights organization Doris Tate Crime Victims Bureau after her mother's death in 1992.
