Summary: Maltese unemployed housewife who had been hospitalized in very critical condition at an intensive care unit for more than a week from several horrific injuries suffered to her arms and legs after being injured in the devastating South Asian Tsunami that swept across the Indian Ocean on December 26, 2004 and killed over 230,000 people during the tidal wave while she was visiting her family to spend the Christmas holiday at their rented bungalow on the island of Phi Phi in southern Thailand when the tragedy occurred, whose two adult daughters Wendy and Charmaine Woolner were also seriously injured from the giant waves but are expected to fully recuperate.
