Summary: Turkish chairman of the civil society organization Divrigi Cultural Association who was a founding member of the Istanbul-based business center Anatolia Cultural Survival Foundation for the scholarships to talented young people of personal development, and who had also survived a 1986 terrorist attack at the Neve Shalom Synagogue in Istanbul, Turkey when gunmen opened fire during a Shabbat service, which resulted in the death of 22 people (this attack is attributed to the Palestinian militant Abu Nidal) while he was working in the same shop outside the synagogue during the initial attacks.
