Summary: Palestinian-American senior banker and deputy chairman of Cairo-Amman Bank in the Palestinian territories who was among at least 57 people reportedly killed in a series of nearly simultaneous suicide bombings that targeted one of the three popular U.S.-based hotels on Nov. 9, 2005 after three Iraqi suicide bombers detonated explosive belts at three luxury hotels in downtown Amman, Jordan and injured more than 100 others when the explosions strike the Grand Hyatt, Radisson SAS and Days Inn hotels where he was a guest at a wedding party at the time, in which the al-Qaeda in Iraq terror group led by the Jordanian-born Abu Musab al-Zarqawi claimed responsibility for the attacks.
