Summary: retired professional baseball player who was known as "El Gallego de la Buena Suerte" when he had twice represented his country as a second baseman in Latin American competition and still holds the Dominican record as the only player to complete an unassisted triple play (getting all three outs by himself in a single play) that led his national team to three Dominican championships in a career spanning three decades, and who was also inducted into the Dominican Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993.
