Summary: high school honors student at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic School in Gonzales, Louisiana who was fatally attack by what authorities believe was a bull shark while body boarding with a friend about 100 yards offshore at northwest Florida's Miramar Beach in the Gulf of Mexico after she had sustained several bites on the lower portions of her body but no one else was injured, in which it became the 12th and latest fatal unprovoked shark attack in Florida that took place in 2004.
