Summary: accountant and survivor of the Lockerbie air disaster who as a child escaped death in the Pan Am Flight 103 explosion that killed 159 passengers and 11 people on ground in southern Scotland on December 21, 1988 and whose family had once lived just five miles from the disaster scene, in which the area around their home was littered with debris from the doomed aircraft at the time of the bombing.
