Summary: Norwegian genetics researcher with the Institute for Cancer Research at Norwegian Radium Hospital in Oslo, Norway who was among one of more than 170 Norwegian tourists reported missing and presumed dead in the devastating South Asian Tsunami that swept across the Indian Ocean and killed over 2,300+ people during the tidal wave while she was on a holiday along with her husband Steinar Kyrkjebo and the couple's two teenage sons Simen and Ola Tomter Kyrkjebo at a beachfront resort in Thailand.
