Summary: Cambodian pilot and nephew of National Assembly of Cambodia president Heng Samrin who went to study in the former Soviet Union in 1982 to become an airplane mechanics and later learned to fly AN-24-type airplanes, but who pursued additional flight training in China in 1997 and became the co-pilot of PMTair, a small Cambodian airline that began flying from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville in January 2007 in a new route launched to spur the country's burgeoning tourism industry.
