Summary: pioneering mountain climber and founding member of the Adirondack 46ers Club, Inc. of mountain climbers, which consists of hikers who have climbed all 46 of the mountain range's High Peaks, who was the club's first female member and it's first president from 1948 to 1951 when she and her husband helped start the 46ers of Troy, New York in 1937 along with members of their church, but who retired in 1961 from the state Commerce Department and volunteered as a historian for the group and answered letters from the club members.
