Summary: Austrian-born humanitarian who along with his wife Danuta Kleisinger were named Righteous Among the Nations by the Israeli government for their efforts in the Polish resistance movement for smuggling food and money for a Jewish family in the Warsaw Ghetto while he worked as an officer in the German Wehrmacht at the railway station during the occupation of Poland in World War II.
