Summary: operatic coloratura soprano who enjoyed an international career that spanned three decades and performed in opera productions in Europe and the United States, where she sang at the Michigan Opera Theater, the Boston Lyric Opera and The Washington DC Opera, among others and whose major roles included Donizetti's Maria Stuarda, Lucia di Lammermoor and Linda di Chamounix, who appeared regularly as Queen of the Night in Mozart's The Magic Flute and as Olympia in Offenbach's Tales of the Hoffman, whose concert repertoire included Bach's Cantata 51, the Brahms Requiem and Mozart's C Minor Mass, Motet and concert arias.
