Summary: Portuguese American assistant general manager of base building services for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey facility stationed at the New York World Trade Center towers in Lower Manhattan who was among one of more than 80 PAPD employees reported missing and presumed dead in the September 11 World Trade Center collapse that killed nearly 3,000 people including 37 Port Authority police officers when the hijacked America Airlines Flight 11 slammed into the building's north tower, where he and another Port Authority colleague Peter Negron were last heard on the radio talking about a stuck elevator on the 87th floor of the trade center prior to its collapse.
