Summary: retired Pan Am pilot who became a leading anti-terrorism activist in efforts to thwart terror suspects through a reward program for tips and by suing their state sponsors after his wife Ingrid was among one of 270 people (mainly Americans) killed in a terrorist attack when a bomb linked to a Libyan agent exploded on Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland on December 21, 1988.
