Summary: Brazilian physician and professor of geriatrics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul in Porto Alegre, Brazil who had a doctorate in bone metabolism from the University of Tokyo specializing in geriatrics and was the director of the Institute of Geriatrics and Gerontology of PUCRS, who also co-ordinated the Collaborative Centre of the World Health Organization in the same institute apart from the direction of the IGG, and who was set to participate in a meeting at the Ministry of Justice in Brasilia, Brazil on a postgraduate degree in public safety.
