Summary: notorious New Zealand murderer twice convicted of attacking two women with a samurai sword and fatally shooting a man during a drug-fueled crime spree outside Auckland in 2003, who at his first trial had claimed he was insane and admitted that he was a user of a form of the drug methamphetamine known in New Zealand as "P" at the time of the attacks, and whose conviction was quashed, but he was again found guilty of murder, grievous bodily harm, firearm charges, and shooting at police.
