Summary: lone survivor of a quadruple shooting at the Sydney River McDonald's restaurant on May 7, 1992 who was left permanently disabled when she was shot in the head during a botched robbery at the restaurant where she worked and resulted in the murders of three employees James Fagan, 27, Donna Warren, 22, and Neil Burroughs, Jr., 29, in one of Nova Scotia's most notorious crimes, who had lived for many years at a specialized facility for people with acquired brain injuries and also attended some of the proceedings in her wheelchair when the three men accused in the killing were on trial.
