Australian Olympic racing cyclist and four-time world champion on the track cycling who won a gold medal for Australia in the men's team pursuit event at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece alongside with his teammates Graeme Brown, Brad McGee, Brett Lancaster and Luke Roberts, but who did not take part in the final after riding in the preliminary rounds and was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia in 2005 for his tireless contribution and service to the sport, who also claimed four world titles in the same discipline at the World Championships between 2002 and 2006.
