Summary:
Russian entrepreneur who was reportedly hospitalized in very serious condition at an intensive care unit for a week after he had sustained severe injuries including multiple shrapnel wounds and bone fractures received during the explosion in the April 3 Saint Petersburg Metro bombing that killed 14 people at the scene and also seriously injured at least 45 others when a suspected suicide bomber identified as 22-year-old Kyrgyz-born Uzbek migrant Akbarzhon Jalilov detonated an explosive device contained in a briefcase inside a train carriage during its transit between Sennaya Ploshchad and Tekhnologichesky Institute central subway stations on the Saint Petersburg Metro underground railway in the centre of St. Petersburg, Russia's second-largest city and imperial capital, in which a second unexploded bomb was found at the Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station, but was diffused by local law enforcement and the incident became the worst deadliest terrorist attacks on Russia's transportation systems in recent years.
