Salvador E. Casellas
Summary: Puerto Rican federal judge of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico who joined the court in 1994 after being nominated by President Bill Clinton to a seat on the federal bench vacated by Jaime Pieras, Jr. and whose son Pablo Casellas-Toro was indicted and prosecuted after an investigation stemming from the July 14, 2012 shooting death and murder of his wife Carmen Paredes at their home in the wealthy San Juan suburb of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico in a case that has been the subject of an intense media coverage.
