Summary: Turkish construction and agricultural laborer who had been hospitalized in serious condition at an intensive care unit for 20 months after he had been hit by shrapnel on his neck and suffered from paralysis due to a spinal cord injury sustained in the bombing of the Ankara train station attack undertaken by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) on Oct. 10, 2015 killing nearly 100 people and wounded more than 500 others in the explosion, in which the Ankara bombing was the deadliest terror attack carried out in Turkey by ISIL with suicide bombers targeting NGOs and supporters of left-wing parties holding a peace rally outside the capital's main train station weeks ahead of the Nov. 1, 2015 general election.
