Summary:
Bangladeshi terrorist and key leader of the banned militant organization Harkatul Jihad al-Islami (also known as HuJI) who was sentenced to death for multiple crimes and carried out a grenade attack in the Hazrat Shah Jalal shrine on May 21, 2004 in which three people including two police officers had died in the attack on the British high commissioner Anwar Choudhury, and who was also behind the August 2004 bomb blast at a political rally organized by then opposition leader Sheikh Hasina in one of the country's deadliest extremist attacks that left 23 people dead and more than 150 others injured.
