Greek actress and singer who won the best actress award at the Sarajevo Film Festival for her breakthrough role as one of the unnamed siblings in director Yorgos Lanthimos' critically acclaimed 2009 indie film Dogtooth, which was nominated for the best foreign-language Oscar at the 2011 Academy Awards and debuted at the Cannes Film Festival, who had taken part in several independent productions including Atherapy, Evil in the Time of Heroes,  and most recently The Fruit Trees of Athens, and who was also the lead singer of the punk band Mary and The Boy prior to her acting career.
