Summary:
former FBI agent who helped track down the cross-country serial killer Andrew Cunanan who shot and killed famous fashion designer Gianni Versace nearly 20 years ago, who was one of the main coordinators of the 11-week manhunt for Cunanan in a nationwide murder spree that began in Minnesota and claimed the lives of five people before ultimately taking his own life in the summer of 1997, who along with other investigators worked almost around the clock seven days a week trying to find Cunanan for nearly three months while he served as a special agent with the FBI Fugitive Task Force and was a member of the Minnesota Emergency Response Team (or SWAT), and who wrote a 2006 book about the search for Cunanan entitled Death by Design.
