Egyptian world's heaviest woman who was once considered to be the heaviest living woman in the world and the second heaviest woman in history (after Carol Yager of Michigan weighed 1,189 pounds at her heaviest in 1993), whose initial weight was claimed to be around 500 kilograms (1,100 pounds) at her peak and who had suffered from a rare thyroid condition which drastically affected her metabolism with a series of knock-on effects on her heart, kidneys and respiratory system, but who had traveled to Mumbai, India earlier this year for bariatric weight loss surgery and reportedly lost a significant amount of weight in recent months after undergoing weight-loss treatment.
