Summary:
Azerbaijani third-year psychology student at the Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University in Saint Petersburg, Russia who was reportedly hospitalized in extremely critical condition with severe injuries suffered from the lethal shrapnel bomb in the April 3 Saint Petersburg Metro bombing that killed 11 people at the scene and also seriously injured at least 45 others including another Azerbaijani citizen when a suspected suicide bomber identified as 22-year-old Kyrgyz-born Uzbek migrant Akbarzhon Jalilov detonated an explosive device contained in a briefcase inside a train carriage during its transit between Sennaya Ploshchad and Tekhnologichesky Institute central subway stations on the Saint Petersburg Metro underground railway in the centre of St. Petersburg, Russia's second-largest city and imperial capital, in which a second unexploded bomb was found at the Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station, but was diffused by local law enforcement and the incident became the worst deadliest terrorist attacks on Russia's transportation systems in recent years.
