Mexican middle school teacher at Northeastern American College in the city of Monterrey, Mexico in the north-eastern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon who was one of several people shot and critically injured in a fatal January 18 school shooting when 15-year-old high school student Federico Guerva Elizondo opened fire inside a classroom after he brought a handgun to school inside his backpack and also wounded three other students in the shooting before killing himself, who had been on a life support machine for more than two months and suffered serious head injuries after being declared brain dead.
