widow and fourth wife of singer Frank Sinatra (died 1998) who was a prominent advocate and philanthropist who raised millions of dollars to help abused children and founded the Barbara Sinatra Center in 1986 as a non-profit organization to provide therapy and other support to young victims of physical, sexual, and emotional abuse with her husband's help, in which more than 20,000 children have been treated at the center in Rancho Mirage, California in the years since, and who was previously divorced from Zeppo Marx (d. 1979), a former member of the Marx Brothers comedy team who became a talent agent.
