Summary:
Romanian architect who had remained hospitalized on life support in critical condition for over two weeks from serious head injuries suffered from a fall after she was thrown into the River Thames during the Westminster terror attack on March 22, 2017 when a terrorist identified as 52-year-old British-born career criminal Khalid Masood plowed his rented sport-utility vehicle into a crowd of pedestrians on the pavement along the Westminster Bridge killing three people and severely injured more than 50 others including her boyfriend Andrei Burnaz, then crashed through the gates in front of Britain's Houses of Parliament in central London and fatally stabbed an unarmed police officer before the assailant was shot and killed by police at the scene, in which the incident was the first major terror attack to occur in the United Kingdom in 12 years since the July 7, 2005 London bombings.
