Summary:
Filipino massage therapist who was among the 70 victims severely injured in the September 2016 Davao City bombing after she lapsed into a coma and spent 11 days on life support at an intensive care unit from severe shrapnel wounds to her head she sustained in the Sept. 2, 2016 incident that killed 10 people on the spot and four others in the hospital when the improvised explosive device went off at the crowded Roxas night market in southern Philippines and whose five-month-old unborn child also died in the blast, in which the militant Islamic group Abu Sayyaf reportedly claimed responsibility for the bombing aimed to divert the military's attention from its operations against the bandit group in the Sulu and Basilan regions, but police are still investigating the deadly explosion and no suspects has been arrested.
