Romanian economics student at Bucharest's Economic Studies Academy (ASE) who had remained hospitalized in critical condition for more than four months after he suffered from severe airway burns due to his injuries sustained in a horrific October 30 nightclub fire that killed 26 people (and counting) at the scene when flames engulfed the Colectiv nightclub in the Romanian capital after a spark from fireworks intended for outdoor use ignited foam decor, sending the panicked crowd to the lone exit on the night of the blaze while he was at the club with two other friends to see a rock concert performed by the heavy metal band Goodbye to Gravity.
