French psychologist who was reportedly hospitalized on life support in critical condition for three weeks from extensive injuries he suffered in the aftermath of the July 14, 2016 Nice terror attack that killed 84 people including his wife Francoise Hattermann and the couple's 12-year-old son Elouan and also injured at least 303 others when a 19-tonne cargo truck was deliberately driven into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day on the seaside Promenade des Anglais in the French Riviera resort city of Nice, France before the attack ended following an exchange of gunfire during which police surrounded the truck and shot dead the lorry driver identified as 31-year-old Tunisian national Mohamed Lahouaiej-Bouhlel, in which the incident has been described as the third major terrorist attack in France since January 2015 following the Charlie Hebdo shooting and the Paris attacks in November 2015.
