Algerian journalist who was on a hunger strike for more than three months to protest against a two-year jail term for offending Algeria's president Abdelaziz Bouteflika after he was convicted in an Algerian court of "defaming a public authority" in a poem he posted online, who was reportedly arrested near his parents' house in Algiers, Algeria on June 27, 2016 and began his hunger strike the same day.
