Dutch businessman and justice advocate who received national recognition in 2002 after the assassination of his brother and murdered politician Pim Fortuyn, then acted as spokesman for the Fortuyn family while in the foreground for many years since his brother's death and later became involved as an advisor with the political party Our New Society Netherlands (ONS Nederland), but who was often in the public eye after the first trial of alleged killer Volkert van der Graaf and also called for better security for politicians.
