Egyptian parishioner at the Saint Peter and Saint Paul Coptic Orthodox Church in Cairo, Egypt who had been hospitalized in critical condition for two weeks from a severe brain injury suffered after she was struck in the head by shrapnel during the horrific December 11 Botroseya Church bombing when a suicide bomber set off explosives in the women's section of the chapel adjacent to Egypt's main Coptic Christian cathedral killing 25 people (mostly women and children) and injured 45 others during Sunday mass in the deadliest attack to target Egypt's Coptic Christian minority in recent years since a 2011 suicide bombing killed more than 20 worshippers outside a church in the coastal city of Alexandria, in which the Islamic State militant group has claimed responsibility for the deadly attack after Egyptian authorities arrested a number of people accused of involvement in the bombing.
