Romanian health worker and vice president of the regional volunteering healthcare assistance association Arvas in Nettuno, Italy who was among one of more than 21 Romanian foreigners reported missing and presumed dead following the devastating August 2016 Central Italy earthquake that killed almost 300 people and injured over 400 others including her 9-year-old son Alexandru Graziani and six other Romanian nationals when a powerful 6.2-magnitude quake struck central Italy that flattened a string of remote mountainside villages and caused extensive damages of numerous buildings in the historic town of Amatrice, Italy close to the epicentre in an area near the borders of the Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo and Marche regions, in which the seismic aftershocks from the disaster was the worst deadliest earthquake to strike Italy in 30 years since 2009.
