Summary:
Canadian Inuit contemporary artist known for ink and crayon drawings of her life and community who rose to prominence when she won the Sobey Art Foundation Award in 2006 for her pen and coloured pencil drawings representing facets of Inuit life and whose work is part of the collections at the National Gallery of Canada and the Art Gallery of Ontario and was recently part of an exhibition on Indigenous pop art at Ottawa's Saw Gallery.
