Tunisian terrorism suspect and fugitive who was wanted by police in connection with the deadly terrorist attack on a Christmas market in Berlin, Germany that killed 12 people and injured 56 others on December 19, 2016 after his fingerprints and identity documents were found inside a stolen tractor-trailer that plowed into the crowded market when the attack took place at the Breitscheidplatz Square near the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and became the subject of a Europe-wide manhunt into Germany's worst terrorist attack in decades, but who had recently pledged his allegiance to the Islamic State's supreme leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in a video released by the ISIL militant group and was previously investigated over earlier terror plot in part for his suspected ties to a well-known Iraqi extremist preacher.
