Summary:
Sierra Leonean military commander known as "Guilt" who was one of a group of seventeen soldiers in the Sierra Leone Armed Forces who called themselves Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC) that succesfully staged a military coup that ousted president Ahmad Tejan Kabbah in May 1997, but who was convicted and sentenced to 50 years in prison in 2007 for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity during the Sierra Leone Civil War, in which about a half-million people died following the diamond-rich country's conflict.
