Summary: Pakistani convicted murderer and political activist of the Muttahida Quami Movement who was awarded a death sentence by the Anti-Terrorism Court in 1999 for targeting the triple murders of KESC (now K-Electric) managing-director and bureaucrat Shahid Hamid along with his driver Ashraf Brohi and his guard Khan Akbar in the neighborhood of Defence Housing Authority in Karachi, Pakistan in July 1997, and whose family had filed clemency applications in two occasions with the country's high court and the Supreme Court where his wife and sisters held multiple press conferences demanding a re-investigation, but all applications were rejected by the apex court.
